Spent the morning making english toffee, a family favorite….

Tug of war with the fisher-price circus train has resulted in a travesty. Krazy glue didn’t help….

Eloise joined me at the table this morning while I was fiishing last night’s drawing. A quick watercolor sketch, trying not to get fussy. Very hard to let go, and I think the most succesful part of this painting is her shirt!

I download the sunday nytimes puzzle every saturday night. I was in bed, working away when I realized that I hadn’t done my drawing! I scribbled away on the crossword itself, and added color and ink this morning.
