these m&ms are special colors…not the kind you buy in the package but the kind you get from a party store. Gray, lavender, icy blue, bright yellow….

I am not sure I have Encinitas out of my system, but I felt drawn today, while painting, to start a series about preschool and the huge opening in all of our lives due to this change. This is the gate where they enter to start the day, and outside of which I wait at the end of the day to be reunited with the kids.

And I am looking forward to our trip to San Diego this weekend.
