Last night’s subject became this morning’s breakfast smoothie.

The pilot light in the wall heater blew out today when both the front and back doors were open at the same time and we created an inadvertent “breezeway.” One match did the trick, but a second was struck for the candles on the dinner table.

Used by kids, and they happen to be the best pair in the house.

Because it’s a holiday weekend and we have had no evening plans, we have been relaxing with a much-deserved cocktail in the evening. Lemon margaritas have been the drink of choice–one part lemon juice, one part triple sec and one part tequila and lots and lots of ice. Delicious.
