When I sat down to draw tonight, I sat on this plastic toy. Although we can’t be sure of the true colors of the dinosaurs, I highly doubt the triceratops was acid blue with a bright orange underbelly. The budding paleontologists in the house haven’t complained about this one’s authenticity, though.

Two of these papier mache creations came home from school yesterday as mother’s day gifts. They are beautiful!

but watermelon still satisfies.
